To apply later, return to jobs.stvincent.org.In addition, you may apply via one of the Employment Kiosks located in each of our St. Vincent Health facilities.ResponsibilitiesThe System Manager, Patient Access will oversee staff by executing all personnel duties, as well as overseeing departmental operations to ensure effective delivery of patient access services, including registration, admitting, financial counseling, cash collection, insurance verification, pre-certification, scheduling, medical necessity compliance and onsite customer services. This position oversees the performance and training of the department and staff so that the department may effectively meet customer requirements and performance standards. This position serves as a resource for the Revenue Cycle Operations to the respective hospital ministries. This position will be responsible for the implementation St.Vincent Health System policies and directives to the local hospital ministries, as well as relay ministry concerns to the appropriate level of St.Vincent Health Revenue Cycle Management.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED:1) Manages staff by being fully engaged in the recruitment, hiring, scheduling, payroll, disciplinary action, orientation and performance monitoring in order to effectively staff the Patient Access department at St.Vincent Health ministries.2) Collaborates with Revenue Cycle and other hospital departmental leaders to identify issues and develop solutions to maintain performance with an emphasis on improving accuracy, reducing time to process and increase cash collection.3) Monitors and maintains hospital, departmental and individual associates performance by collecting and reporting results on a routine basis in order to ensure service and quality standards are met.4) Manages staff and departmental performance by providing ongoing feedback, coaching and training in order to promote continuous improvement, develop necessary knowledge, skills and abilities, and improve overall performance at the individual, departmental and hospital levels.5) Serves on hospital and/or departmental committees as assigned by leadership in order to provide patient access expertise and input.6) Responsible for developing and managing a budget.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications (REQUIRED): Bachelor
